Bruce Brunch is a weekly two-hour
celebration of the career of Bruce
Springsteen! From 1973 to the present, all eras of Springsteen's
recordings are included. In addition to studio recordings, various
live versions of songs are also represented--with a special emphasis
on rare import discs. And whenever there is Bruce News or Bruce
is in the news, you'll hear all about it.

Who are your favorite Hawk artists? My blessed
trinity: Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and U2.
My Hometown: Trenton, NJ (The Garden Spot of
the Garden State)
First Bruce Brunch: 12/7/2003 (a date that will
live in infamy)
First
concert: David Bowie at the Tower Theatre on Washington’s
Birthday in 1973.
First Bruce Springsteen concert: War Memorial,
Trenton, NJ, 5/24/1974
Best concerts I’ve ever been to: Too many
Bruce Springsteen shows to mention (duh), but nothing will top
the night after we lost John Lennon, 12/9/1980 at the Spectrum.
Live Aid. U2 at the Tower on the Unforgettable Fire tour. The
Rolling Stones at the Meadowlands on the Tattoo You tour. Little
Steven & The Disciples Of Soul at the late, great Big Man’s
West in Red Bank. This could be a very long list…
Favorite Guest at a Bruce Springsteen show:
Hands down, Eddie Vedder at the Meadowlands, 10/13/2004.
Favorite Bruce “Surprise” Appearance:
Again, too many to mention—the Jersey Club Tour of 1982
was priceless, and 8/7/1982 at Big Man’s West with Beaver
Brown will always stand out. Also, the benefit for the 3M Plant
in Freehold at the Stone Pony on 1/19/1986, with all of the E
Street Band except for Nils & Roy.
