Big SteveWho are your favorite Hawk artists? The Pink Floyd, Steve Miller Band, Bruce Springsteen, U2

Where do you like to hang? Lately, you can find me a lot in Seaside or at the Boathouse in Belmar…hittin' up the bars or just cruising around and hanging out with friends. During the summer, my Belmar beach badge gets quite a bit of use

When I'm not at the Hawk, you'll find me...When I'm not working, you can find me under the truck turnin' the wrenches. Please don't ask me what's wrong with your car, though. I'm a "shadetree mechanic" and unless something is blatantly broken and spitting out fluid of some type, I cannot diagnose a problem for the life of me. Speaking of which, I should probably crawl under there and figure out what is causing the puddle that I leave in the parking lot every day...

Radio doesn't work out? There's always that career in juggling...

...or as a fire fighter!

What web site(s) do you check daily? 1057thehawk.com, rangerpowersports.com, offroadrangers.com, ebay.com, myspace.com, hotmail.com

Best concert(s) I've ever been to: Two Springsteen shows back in '04, U2 at the Garden in December '05

In my CD player right now: I've been jumping back and forth lately between "Keane - Hopes and Dreams", "The Definitive John Lennon Collection", and various other mixed CD's.

Favorite movie of all time: Pretty much anything with Tom Hanks

On the tube, I'll watch (or TiVO): Man, I need to get a TiVO...but really, anything on the Discovery Channel (American Chopper, Monster Garage, etc.), anything on Speed Channel on Saturday mornings (Trucks!, Horsepower TV), and Seinfeld re-runs because you can usually catch them at any time of the day on many different channels. Also, I've become very addicted lately to "Mythbusters". I especially liked the one where they tried to prove if people were crossing the border illegally by using super huge catapults and flinging themselves from Mexico to the US. They were flinging human-sized dummies over 200 yards! Imagine that landing...ouch!

SamanthaMy pets include: Technically, it's not MY pet, but my roommate just adopted an 8-9 year old Rotty mix from the SPCA. Her name is Samantha(left) and she kicks ass. She's more of a couch potato than I am! Eventually, I really want to get a big white fluffy husky so I can put one of those little barrels around his neck with a martini glass in it. So when he finds someone who was stuck in an avalanche, they can drink a martini while the rescue team is on the way. Good puppy! Nah, I haven't thought about it that much...

If I won the lottery, I would....
Pay off those damn student loans, and make sure the family is set. I think I'd finally buy a new truck as well. Mine is actually leaking GASOLINE now...that can't be good!

Radio Dump holes I've worked at before landing in the Hawk's nest: In my short-lived, three year long radio career, I have spent the entire time working in the same building. There was a summer job at another station in another market, but that's about it. I also have to give props to my roots. I first got involved in radio at Monmouth University, where I was very involved at WMCX 88.9 FM, "Modern Rock with an EDGE!" "Mom, Dad, I have decided that I never want to make any money. I'm going to school for RADIO!"
